Deborah is a Charleston, SC native and self taught artist. She has been painting and sketching for as long as she can remember. She received her degree in Graphic Design and worked in printing for 26 years, where she began using her talents as an Illustrator.


 Deborah creates a variety of decorative and fine artwork. She works with a variety of mediums including color pencil, watercolor, and pen & ink. She enjoys "painting" with pencil to create unique and interesting pieces and exploring and developing her paintings in watercolor. Inspiration for her paintings comes primarily in nature, she paints a variety of subject matter following her muse where ever it takes her.


 Deborah is an Exhibiting Member of the Summerville Artist Guild and past Exhibiting Member of the Charleston Artist Guild and Folly Beach Artist and Craftsman Guild. Deborah has won several awards for her work in Juried Exhibitions and her illustrations have been used in printed materials all over the South Carolina, as well  as in the children's book "Fali".


 Deborah continues her work as an artist on a full time basis, continually developing her technique and creative inspirations.
